UMMA Centre which was established in 1985 and is home to a diverse Muslim community, who began settling in Melbourne since the early 1960’s and 1970’s. Over the years UMMA Centre has grown significantly and now serves as a vibrant community, reflecting its commitment to faith,  education, wellbeing, and inclusivity. UMMA symbolises the successful establishment and growth of a dynamic, multicultural Islamic community in Melbourne. It has a sporting facility and also delivers programs such as Islamic classes for adults and youth, seminars, and events aimed at harmony and solidarity with the community at large.
