The Australian Islamic Centre (AIC) represents a unique Islamic environment that integrates Australian values with the beauty of Islam. We’ve undergone quite the transformation over the years. From being a community centre that mainly serviced the local Muslim community in Newport and its surrounds, to becoming a global architectural icon that has attracted tourists to our great state from all over the world. 

AIC has grown from being a place of worship to being a full-fledged centre with services that cater to many of the community’s needs.

We offer wide range of services from our complex. In addition to the daily prayers, we have: advice and counselling; education for children and adults; services related to birth, marriage and death; and many more.
