In 2004 the Muslim Charity Community of Western Australia (MCCWA)  was established as a registered charity not-for-profit organisation,  with a vision formed between community members to establish the construction of a Masjid and Islamic services for residents of the south in Perth, Western Australia. The founding members of MCCWA worked tirelessly for a period that spanned 10 years to finalise the goals of the organisation to build Masjid Al Rahman, currently situated in the City of Gosnells and is currently the biggest masjid to service the residents of Perth.
