Established in 2013, Sadaqa Welfare Fund is a distinguished Sydney-based charity organisation that has expanded its footprint to Melbourne and Perth. Our journey originated during a late-night discussion at a mosque in Sydney, where two brothers, deeply moved by global crises, pondered the impactful question: “What can we do to make a difference?”

This question found its answer during Sadaqa’s inaugural field trip to Bangladesh. Witnessing the dire conditions faced by the local population, our team felt an immediate responsibility to assist those in need worldwide.

As a Muslim organisation guided by Islamic values, our primary objective is to empower the less fortunate by implementing projects in the most vulnerable regions. Sadaqa has left a lasting mark on numerous locations, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Lebanon, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine – Gaza, Rohingya, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Turkiye, Uyghurs, Yemen, and addressing local needs in Australia.
